Vassar's Spice Co. started in a Chicago kitchen with a simple belief: everyday cooking deserves restaurant-quality flavor. As a chef, host, and contestant on Food Network's new series 100 Cooks, flavor has always been the obsession.

But it started long before the kitchen. As a college and pro athlete, I learned that what you put in your body is everything — so I became relentless about clean, high-quality ingredients, gravitating toward spices cultures have prized for generations.

When I couldn't find seasonings that met that standard, I started blending my own. Every Vassar's blend is made by hand, in small batches, with organic spices and nothing artificial.
